Stick Around for Something Delicious!
For last summer’s ice cream rollout, we joined forces with Stranger Friend and Dairy Farmers of America to create a joyful campaign that gave Friendly’s, Mayfield, and Kemps each their own moment in the sun. The trick? One shoot, three brands, and just the right amount of flavor juggling.
We brought in on-camera talent to keep things feeling human, happy, and deliciously real—because sometimes you need to see someone bite into a frozen treat to believe the joy. Gasket handled everything from directing to animation to final edit, building out hero spots and a ton of social-ready elements along the way.
Turns out when good friends team up (us + Stranger Friend), great things happen. Especially when ice cream is involved.
We also brought the magic into a second creative wave.
This time, a more stop-motion inspired approach tied into previous campaigns—same cast, fresh direction, and just as fun. Whether looping for Instagram or dancing across a digital banner, every piece was built with delight in mind.
We went full summer blockbuster on this one — minus the explosions (unless you count taste buds).
Our team built a bright, candy-colored world using photogrammetry to scan real ice cream bars — yes, we 3D-scanned dessert. Then, with a little CG wizardry and help from our friends at Plural Films, we filmed talent pretending to hold what were essentially very convincing popsicle stand-ins. We swapped those out with animated bars that danced like they’d been training for a cherry fudge-themed episode of So You Think You Can Sundae.
Each flavor got its spotlight moment — from caramel waffle cone to cookie dough — twirling and dipping in a choreographed number that was somehow both elegant and snackable. Call it sweet symmetry. Or just call it what it was: a joyful, summer-fueled animation that makes you want to lick your screen (please don’t).
